How the appointment works

A visit to YIES is an important first step in getting to know our organisation.

We’d be delighted to welcome you for a personal consultation: we’ll listen to your needs, answer your questions and explain our educational approach.

Tour of the premises and classrooms

We’ll take you on a tour of the spaces where our pupils learn, play and grow every day. You’ll be able to see the workshops, classrooms and outdoor areas.

Experience a typical day

If you’d like, your child can spend a morning with us, taking part in activities alongside our students. It’s a great way to see if it’s the right environment for them.

Come along to an Open Day

Open Days are the perfect opportunity to discover YIES alongside other families. It’s a chance to explore the facilities and meet the team.

Do you have any questions?

01 How long does the visit take?

It usually takes between 45 minutes and an hour, but there’s no set rule. It depends on how many questions you have and how much you want to go into detail.

02 Can I bring my son?

Of course: it’s the best way to get a feel for the place and start getting to know the teachers.

03 Do I need to know already whether I want to enrol?

Absolutely not. The visit involves no obligation: it’s an opportunity to get to know the school and clear up any doubts.

04 How will you contact me once I’ve filled in the form?

The YIES office will contact you directly, usually within 24 hours, to arrange a date and time. If we are unable to reach you by phone, we will reply by email.

05 Can I explore multiple educational pathways on the same day?

Yes, if you have several children of different ages, or simply want to get a full picture, we can arrange a tour that covers several areas.
